DMG sees the light at the end of the booming '50s as a small manufacturer of pushbuttons and locks.
In the mid '80s, DMG undergoes deep restructuring which enables the transformation from small local
company to market leader: organization, innovative production system, investments in new machines and
accurate selection of materials give way to the realization of new product lines.
After a deep restructuring, improved production system and accurate material selection give rise to new
products like the B5 button: quality, modularity, and a broad product range become the benchmarks
of the "new" DMG

B5, B6, B7 pushbuttons, the innovative BF frontal mounting pushbutton and "Gilda" plates
are only some of the milestones of DMG production: quality, modularity and flexibility are key aspects
of "new" DMG.
In 1994, DMG realizes "Magellano", industry's first software for fixture order management which
allows customers to generate orders directly on their PCs and e-mail them to DMG.

Year 2000 inaugurates the era of pre-wired technology, integration and modularity: Pitagora, the
complete electronic system especially designed for modernizations and the programmable emergency
telephone Amigo synthesize these concepts.
DMG then introduces its multiplepurpose position indicator "MPI" and new lines of pushbuttons compliant to
EN-81/70 norms. The quest for innovation and design continues…
