A CLOSER LOOK
Its minimalist look should not be misleading: SHERMAN is a button designed for demanding, heavy-duty applications.
With its extremely robust body and proven activation mechanism, SHERMAN fully complies with EN81-71 Class 2 European guidelines to design lift components installed in environments prone to vandalism.
SHERMAN was successfully tested in our laboratories for impact, water flow and fire resistance.
See our resistance test.
GREAT CONTRAST, BETTER VISIBILITY
The EN81-70:2018 norm requires that luminance contrast between adjacent surfaces be evaluated in numerical light reflectance value (LRV).
The tag black metal added around SHERMAN frontal mount button provides enhanced luminance contrast to the surrounding faceplate.
ITALIAN FLAIR IN FOUR SHAPES
The Sherman button comes in four charming shapes for all needs.
CLASSIC : This version has a dome-shaped pressel and LED illuminated halo
DISC : This version has a flat pressel. Electrical and mechanical features are the same as the Sherman Classic
MOON: This version has a recessed pressel. Same electrical and mechanical features as the Sherman Classic.
CALIFORNIA: Similar to the Sherman Disc, the Sherman California features a raised flat pressel to comply with the California code.
The appeal of solid and robust steel in four different pressel shapes
the effortless allure of brass colored PVD coating in all four shapes!
The frontal mount version of the SHERMAN can be inserted in round-shaped 30mm cut-outs, fastening by the jam-nut ring on 0,8 mm to 3 mm faceplates.
Avalaible adaptation ring for cut-outs Ø 35mm.
Tags & surrounds available
The SHERMAN button can be matched to conventional stainless steel tags with tactile Braille, to Caesar retro-illuminated stamped metal surrounds or to Brutus electro-coloured stainless steel surrounds. The backlit embossed Edge symbol, inserted directly on the faceplate, is a great choice too.
Upon activation the halo of the pushbutton light up in red or blue.
White illumination is also available on request for some pushbuttons.
By default, all DMG buttons are available primarily with this basic illumination pattern.
Like all our pushbuttons, the Sherman can be matched to different contact modules:
Wire terminals contact module
Good for all types of modernizations. Requires conventional wiring during installation.
If EN81.70 Beep is required, the additional PCB0BEEP module shall be added to the car panel and at each floor. Alternatively, the P8+BEEP contact module is suggested especially at floors.
Best solution for pre-wired fixtures within the Pitagora 4.0 electric system.
A JST cable must be added to connect the push-button to the Pitagora 4.0 boards in the car (C40.COP14) and at each floor (C40.BDU).
contact module + BEEP
Good for new installations and modernizations requiring acoustic feedback of call registration (EN81.70).
The built-in acoustic device features +/-2dB BEEP signal when button is pressed.
